Moss Bounces Back

Two years ago in Texas Stadium, Santana Moss ignited a miraculous comeback with a touchdown catch with 3:46 left that pulled the Washington Redskins within six points of the Dallas Cowboys.

Last night in the same place, Moss scored with 3:45 remaining.

This time, against a better Cowboys team, Moss and Co. couldn’t complete the rally. The Redskins drove to the Dallas 19, then to midfield on the next possession before losing 28-23.

“We were inches away,” Moss said. “That’s the game. It’s plays like that separate us from being 9-1. Only [New England] really beat our behinds. There’s always a could’ve, should’ve until you go out and do it.”
